JOIN THE FCPC
The Florida Council of Private Colleges (FCPC) welcomes new members to join FCPC. The purpose of the FCPC is to serve private, degree granting, faith based, institutions that provide quality faith based education. The FCPC has a proven track record that supports, “Keeping the Lord’s testimony above reproach!” and, “United We Stand In Florida, Divided Individually We Can Be Conquered.” An institution that has a physical presence, such as, incorporated, registered, offers instruction, address, in Florida and agrees with the criteria found on www.fcpc-edu.org qualifies and is welcome to join the FCPC. There are three levels of FCPC membership. They are:

            INITIAL MEMBERSHIP

Any institution that joins the FCPC, between January 1 to December 31 prior to the following April 1, will be a FCPC Initial Member. The initial membership period allows opportunity for the institution and existing FCPC members to mutually ascertain that the new Initial Member is in agreement and complying with FCPC criteria on www.fcpc-edu.org as we mutually move forward together. FCPC Initial Member with extenuating circumstances may request one year extension of FCPC Initial Membership only. The FCPC Facilitator Program will assist and evaluate the progress of the new FCPC Initial Member culminating, Lord willing, with a recommendation for advancement to Sustaining Membership with the FCPC.
EXCEPTIONS:                                                                                                                1. An institution CPCA CERTIFIED - 5 year, CPCA CERTIFIED -10 year, and/or U.S.D.E. recognized accreditation status will join immediately as a FCPC Advanced Member.               2. An institution with CPCA Applicant, CPCA Candidate and/or U.S.D.E. recognized accreditation Applicant or Candidate status will join immediately as a FCPC Sustaining Member.

SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP

FCPC Initial Members that have advanced to FCPC Sustaining Membership shall maintain Sustaining Member status and payment of fees. Failure to do so will require rejoining through the FCPC Initial Member level. The FCPC Facilitator Program will assist and evaluate the progress of the FCPC Sustaining Member culminating, Lord willing, with a recommendation for advancement to FCPC Advanced Membership.  FCPC Sustaining Members will be required to have an FCPC Facilitator Program evaluation every three years to ascertain the following;
1. If they are ready to enter the CPCA Applicant Status for the CPCA certification process.
2. If they are in good standing with the FCPC Sustaining Member criteria on www.fcpc-edu.org and they should remain a FCPC Sustaining Member.
3. If they have achieved CPCA CERTIFIED - 5 year, CPCA CERTIFIED -10 year, and/or U.S.D.E. recognized accreditation status and should be a FCPC Advanced Member.

ADVANCED MEMBERSHIP

FCPC Sustaining Members that have advanced with CPCA CERTIFIED - 5 year, CPCA CERTIFIED -10 year, and/or U.S.D.E. recognized accreditation status will be a FCPC Advanced Member. The FCPC Facilitator Program will assist and evaluate the ongoing status of the FCPC Advanced Member with their CPCA certified and/or U.S.D.E., recognized accreditation status through their Effectiveness Reports (ERs). The FCPC Advanced Member shall maintain their CPCA Certified and/or U.S.D.E. recognized accreditation status and payment of fees. The FCPC respects and is proud to honor its FCPC Advanced Members who have achieved and maintain this standard of excellence in “Keeping the Lord’s testimony above reproach. Well done thou good and faithful servants.”
